Showtime Style Tutorial

This tutorial shows how I make my showtime style, if you want to see some + the myspace(: Thanks.

Step 1
Open up your vector. You can use this one if you don't have one. its not the same as mine, but close enough. it will still work. Once you have your vector opened, select the magic wand tool. Click here to see it.

Step 2
Now select every other two lines. While holding down the SHIFT button you can select more than one at a time. Your image should look like this.

Step 3
Create a new layor but make sure your vector lines are still selected. Your layers should look like this.

Step 4
Then select the brush tool, make sure it a full solid brush that you pick. Anything that will fill. Don't use the paint bucket, it will mess it up. Click here to see mine.

Step 5
Then select a color, any color. I used a pinkish.

Step 6
Now color in on your picture and it should only color the ones you have selected. CLick here to see.

Step 7
Then keep doing that for all the lines in your vector. here is my 2nd one.
Step 8
Here is my product all filled in.

Step 9

Now double click your TOP layer and copy all the settings i have here

Step 10
Now copy these settings on the stroke.

Step 11
When you have that done, click ok. Then right click your top layer and select, Copy layer style & the right click the layers below it and select paste layer style and all your layers should have that style.

Step 12
Here is what my product looks like so far.

Step 13
Now your going to add patterns to your vector. Doubel click the first layer and your options should come up. You can copy my settings or do your own. Then do all your layers like that. Here is what mine looks like.

Step 14
This is where it gets a bit crazy. Bare with me!(: If you need to reread it, please do. Now open up your sitemodel image that you want to use. Double click the background layer and select ok. We will start by selecting the magnetic lasso tool. Thats the easiest thing to use. Just out line your model, but don't worry if the lines mess up. Here's what mine looks like.

Step 15
You see that the lines aren't straight, don't panic. Press D & that will default your colors. Then press Q Here's what mine looks like. Everything you DIDN'T have selected should be red, now take your eraser tool and erase any red that you do want selected. & if there is Anything you do want selected, use the paint brush tool & color what you do want selected. Here is what mine looks like after i erase and color.

Step 16
Now, press Q again and you should come up with something like this. Make sure your sitemodel is still selected, go to Select --> inverse and then press deleted. Go back to select and inverse.

Step 17
Oulining the sitemodel! We are going to use the same ones from the vector but without the patterns. double click your sitemodel layer and your options should come up again. Drop Shadow & Stroke

Step 18
Now go to select, modify, EXPAND. Like this. and i made mine 20 pixels but you might want to be different. Now it doesnt matter if your sm is selected.
Step 19
create a new layer and use your gradient tool and use the color scheme you used for your vector. and click the top of your image to the bottom and you should have a gradient. Now move your gradient layer below your sitemodel. Now your sitemodel should be on top of the gradient, if it is, goodjob, if not, read it again? lol.

Step 20
Now make 3 copies of your sm layer and your gradient layer. Now start with your MIDDLE SM layer. Your should already have settings applied to all of them. Double click your layer and your options will come up. Deselect the drop shadow option. Then go to stroke and change it to "2" and put your stroke as a gradient instead of pattern.
Step 21
We are almost done, dont worry! lol Well now we are going to the TOP SM layer and do the same thing but put it as 1 and keep it at pattern. Now do the same things for your gradient layers. the exact same, so they should look the same when your done.
Step 22
Here is what mine looks like so far. I colored the sm clothes because i wanted to. You can learn to do that here. I dont want to add a pattern to the sm because i just dont but you can if you want.
Step 23
Now we are going to merge visible layers. Right click and merge visible. Then drag the sm photo to your vector.THen add some text & your done!

Here is my final copy!
